Radiopaque marker bands are small metal rings or lines that are visible on medical imaging tests such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. These marker bands are used to help doctors and radiologists accurately locate and track medical devices or implants within the body, such as stents, catheters, or pacemakers. The marker bands may also be used to evaluate the position and movement of organs and tissues during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, such as radiation therapy or endoscopy. Radiopaque marker bands are typically made from materials such as platinum, gold, tantalum, niobium, iridium or platinum iridium alloy(PtIr), which have high atomic numbers and can absorb X-rays or other forms of radiation.

Our marker bands can be cut in a variety of lengths and diameters according to customer specifications. Our marker bands, manufactured in platinum, platinum+iridium(Pt/Ir), gold or tantalum are cut into lengths, down to 0.25 mm via an original process which guarantees high precision and a burr-free finish.
